What tools I use

My favourite tools, hardware and apps that I use and love.
Not an exhaustive list, just the stuff that I particularly like.


πŸ’» Macbook Pro 13" Early 2015 – The best machine ever.

πŸ“± iPhone 7 – Such a great device. Though I will be probably looking to upgrade this autumn.

🎧 Sony WH-1000XM3 – Terrible name, amazing headphones. The noise-cancelation is priceless in the office and cafΓ©s.

⌚️ Withings ActivitΓ© – I'm digging the simplicity and the combination of a classic look and smart features.

πŸ“˜ Kindle Paperwhite 3 – Perhaps my favorite device. Single-purpose, well made and I just love reading.

πŸ–± ConnectIT vertical mouse – Nothing fancy, but it's vertical and my wrist is happy and pain-free.


πŸ’Ž Sketch – still my favorite design tool. I use it with the Runner plugin.

πŸ›  Axure RP – I swear by this one, it's the most powerful prototyping tool. Occasionally, I use Framer too – both for different purposes.

πŸ“« Postbox - Powerful yet good looking email client. I've grown accustomed to it over several years.

πŸ“… Fantastical – Definitely worth the money, the best calendar I found. Using it on my phone too.

✍️ Notion – For planning, writing, making notes...such a versatile tool!

βœ… Todoist – Very well made to-do app, has everything I need to plan my tasks.


πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ Center – I meditate every day. After using Headspace for years, I switched to just a simple timer and this one is great.

πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ Strong – For tracking my weigh-lifting workouts. Very flexible and usable for me.

πŸ“– Pocket – My go-to app for saving articles to read later.

πŸ’° Spendee – I like to see where my money goes to manage it better.

β˜‘οΈ Habitify – I have been tracking my habits for several years now and this app has been my favourite for doing that .

πŸ“š Goodreads – Perhaps the only social-network app on my phone (except for Messenger). I'm keeping track of what I read and I love to discover new books, what friends are reading etc.

🎡 Spotify – As a huge music fan, this is a must-have.

πŸ“» Overcast – While I don't listen to podcasts too often, I love this app for being so well-crafted.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ KitchenStories – I cook a lot at home and this is my go-to place for recipes.

πŸš‰ CG Transit – As I use public transport a lot, this app helps me every day with looking up times and planning journeys across the city. Not the most beautiful, but very handy and usable.
